Pokémon Revival
7:01 PM

I have the sudden urge to play Pokémon, to watch Pokémon, and to read Pokémon. I stood up 'til 4 AM reading about Pokémon. It all started on LUE, when I clicked on a topic entitled something like "Ash Ketchum was a crappy trainer." It talked about how Ash sucked because he never really trained his Pokémon. Hell, he never even really caught them! He always let his Pokémon go, and there were very few times that he actually won a gym badge legitly. So I ended up reading about Pokémon on Wikipedia and various sites...'til 4 AM.

So anyway, I read on LUElinks about this "clearance" sale they were having at Blockbuster/Gamerush... Shit, I just realized I didn't even check the Gameboy Advance rack for Pokémon games. I just checked the used games.

Then I returned New Police Story to Hastings. Jessica now has 1 dollar credit on her account! Yay!

Then I went to Gamexchange, and I bought Super Metroid for the SNES (though I was looking for a GBA Pokémon game or Killer7 for the Gamecube).

Then I went to Walmart and bough some Sprite.

Then when I got home, I looked for Pokémon Gold, but couldn't find it. =[

I wanna play Pokémon..maybe I'll go download the lame anime series.

That's it.

Stop Hastings
12:24 AM

Hastings sucks. Yeah, I've said this before, but I'm saying it again, 'cause I've had another bad experience with them.

On Monday, I went to Hastings to rent some movies that I really wanted to see, but never go to. However, I just ended up renting Pirates of the Caribbean. I had seen the movie before, but I forgot everything that happened in it, probably because I wasn't paying attention or something. I don't know. Anyway, I rented it. I read on one of those little card things they have on the racks that DVDs were $1.99. Two dollars sounds like a fair price for a DVD rental. Then I find out it's 4 dollars. So I rented Pirates of the Caribbean on DVD from Hastings. I finally decide to watch it today. I put it in my PS2 (which I had to pick up from Keith and Ariel's house), and watch a bit of it. I'm into the third chapter of the movie, then the PS2 starts to have trouble reading the disc, and I eventually meet the dreaded "Disc Read Error" screen. Well ****. I thought that myabe it was just the PS2 acting up, becuase, hey, it's the PS2. I take the disc out and I see that the disc has a bunch of scratches on it. Bah.

So I reluctantly try to finish the movie on my Macbook. All's going well so far. I get to maybe the 10th chapter. UH OH! DISC ERROR MANIA! -_- I take the disc out, then realize that on the front of the disc, it's labeled "DISC 1." ...that means there's a DISC 2...AND I DIDN'T GET IT. When I rented it, it only came with one disc. Well ****, again. I was gypped.

So here I go again. I move the disc to my PC's DVD drive. I get to the chapter it started messing up with, and it just freezes my Media Player program. Gahh! In one last ditch effort, I try to rip the DVD onto my hard drive. Unsurprisingly, the process fails in the middle. This is a bunch of crap!

I'm gonna get Jessica and ask her to come with me so I can complain and get a free rental. Until then, I'm gonna do what I should've done in the first place: DOWNLOAD THE FRIGGIN' MOVIE.

In the mean time, I'm gonna mention the Pirates of the Caribbean is a good movie so far. I'm looking forward to watching the sequel, with Captain Cthulu.

Holy shiz.
8:30 PM

I'm watching Justice League, and Superman died, and now Lobo is a member of the Justice League. Kickass. Also, Batman's kicking ass, too.

What I don't get is that no one's questioning where Clark Kent is. He didn't show up to Superman's funeral, but his family did, and so did Lois. Supergirl didn't show up, but Kara did. Wouldn't people be suspicious? A bunch of other heroes showed up for the funeral, too.

Gahahhaa! The "fight" between Lobo and Kalibak is hilarious. Lobo throws a car at Kalibak. Kalibak lifts the car up and approaches Lobo, telling him "I'm going to grind you into paste!" Lobo responds, "Big talk for a dead man." Kalibak retorts, "I'm not dead yet!" Lobo: "You're right. My watch is 10 seconds fast." He then proceeds to pick up two cars and make a Kalibak sandwich with them. Then it cuts to the other Justice League members fighting a bunch of other badguys (The Flash taking out Livewire is especially awesome). Then it cuts back to Kalibak and Lobo. Actually, you only see Lobo and a huge pile of cars. Then you see Kalibak under the cars, Lobo taunting him, saying, "Saaay iiit!" Kalibak responds, "...uncle..." Lobo picks up another car, but Hawk Girl stops him from continuing the pile and tells him to put the car down. Lobo then tosses the car backwards into a building, saying "I was gonna..."

Now Superman is on some planet with a red sun (which means no powers) so he's driving a car and he's got a beard, and he has a sword, and now he's being attacked by dogs. This is awesome.

Holy moose, Superman just kicked the dog pack leader's ass and he now wears the dog's skins as he uses the other dogs as sled dogs. Now Superman looks like some kickass pirate/barbarian. Much cooler than his normal costume. And remember, HE DOESN'T HAVE HIS POWERS.

Uh-oh, he's just discovered a destroyed Justice League Watch Tower. What's goin' on, dudes? Now some dude came out of nowhere (I guess he's a hobo living in the Watch Tower) and he says everyone died 1000 years ago. Sound familiar? THE PATRIOTS!? Okay, apparently the hobo is someone, afterall. I have no idea who it is, but Superman says he tried to take over the world...and he emphasizes twice.

Whelp, the world is dead. Wee. Only the hobo and Superman are left (as far as humans are concerned). No Lobo. No Batman. =[

"I've got issues, with me destroying the earth and all." LOLZ, the hobo is hilarious. Okay, the hobo's name is "Savage" (Randy?) and he has a time machine. Superman just called him "Mr. Wizard." WTF? He's the Macho Man!! Now they're fixing the time machine and riding dragonflies...wait, WTF? Now they're gonna go fight roaches. Holy crap, they're huge. They ate the dragonflies. =[

Superman just fell into a pit with the power cell. O I C, the power cell restored Superman's powers. Yayz. Now Superman can go back in time. Yep. Good times.

Yay! More Lobo! "LOLZ, I went to teh future and me and Randy Savage fought some giant cockroaches!" ROFL. ...Lobo's fired. =[ *cries*

Lobo: "Don't bother asking the Main Man again!" Martian Manhunter: "We didn't ask in the first place!"

Woo, that was a great episode. Now BATMAN BEYOND is coming up! WOOO!

Yarrgh!
2:47 AM

I've really got nothing to talk about when it comes to my everyday life right now, so I'm gonna talk about pirates.

Pirates are awesome. They've got the awesome lingo "Ahoy! Arr! Avast!", they've got the awesome threads (long, stylish coats, cool hats), and they do awesome things (like burn ships and steal gold and bury it under ground)! Hooks for hands and eyepatches are also badass. A lot of 'em have cool beards and stuff, too.

Examples of awesome pirates: Maddox, Cervantes de Leon, Captain Hook, Jack Sparrow, me...the list goes on.

Pirates aren't perfect, though. There are a few things I don't particulary enjoy about pirates. Mainly, it would be the practice of rape. I've never been a fan of rape...I'll never advocate such a vile act, but that's what pirates did, sadly. I'm not gonna be totally biased and ignore or suddenly support such a thing.

Pirates are also the natural enemies of ninjas. This puts me in another predicament. I tend to think that ninjas are also very cool creatures, yet because of their rivaly with pirates, I'm forced to choose between the two. I'll have to go with pirates because I prefer their style (aside from the rape thing). Don't get me wrong, though. Sub-Zero, Scorpion, and Batman are still very cool.

****
2:22 AM

Man, I feel horrible. Instead of writing about my day, I'm just gonna rant about shiz.

First of all: relationships. Sexual relationships. Relationships with the opposite sex. Relationships beyond simple "friendship." Ugh. This kind crap annoys me to no end. Sometimes I wish there was a way to disable the desire to pursue such relationships. Of course, then what would be the point of living if I couldn't love? Bah, see? That's the desire talking!

My "love life" is terrible, man. All the girls I'm interested in are not interested in me. The only girls interested in me are girls I'm not interested in. WTF is up with that? Must irony be so prevalent in my life? GEHH! The thing is that I'm looking for a girl who share interests with me. You know, fascination with technology, a gamer, interest in the Japanese culutre...crap like that. Well, it turns out the majority of the girls like that are either taken or just unattractive by other means. It's not just about looks either. They might be ugly, they might be super annoying, they might talk too much, they might talk too little, they might be pyschos. Crap like that. It's almost as if I'm stuck with "left overs." Yes, that's a horrible thing to say, but it's an analogy I can use and it makes sense.

There are also other girls I'm attracted to, but not because of similar interests. It's either the fact that they're "nice girls" or they're really hawt. This is also difficult. Because of a lack of shared interests, it's difficult to engage in conversation...and I geek out all the time...

Man, I friggin' HATE geeking out! I define "geeking out" as talking about geeky things, especially with someone who couldn't give a crap. Maybe I'm talking about how awesome Katamari Damacy is, or explaining my love for E.S. Posthumus. They don't care and I end up looking and feeling like a complete idiot. It's just that I feel some mild desire to have others know me better, but I force it on them like a moose.

This is what I get for being a friggin' geek. An younger, and unattractive geek, to boot. I could probably get a girl if I went after girls a bit younger than me, 'cause then I'd either find girls who are ideal for me, or just girls who are desperate to date "mature" (older) guys. But I can't do that. That means I'd have to actually go out and meet girls. How the hell am I gonna do that? I can't go back to school (they'd kick me off campus, like they did Heath). There aren't any "hang out" places in Paris. I'm not going to Wal-Mart to pick up chicks.

Ah, perhaps this is another reason I want to work at GameXchange. I want to meet girls...with similar interests. Now, I can't exactly hang out at GameXchange without seeming like a total weirdo. Becoming an employee would totally give me a valid excuse to hang there all the time and meet geek girls.

I suppose there are plenty of aspects that I should change in order to fix my so-called "love life." People will tell me that...then they'll tell me crap like, "Be yourself." Which one is, it folks? Be someone different or be myself to find love? I suppose you only say "Be yourself" to make me feel better, 'cause if you told me "Be someone else" I'd feel horrible for obvious reasons.

I just sighed. Yeah. This sucks.

Keith and Ariel return
2:01 AM

The Temporal Bros. are back, so I guess I'm staying over at their house tonight (actually, it's morning now, so it would be last night). We haven't really done much. I played some WoW, Ariel played some RE4, and Keith played Trauma Center. Cool stuff.

Kindergarten Cop is on. That's such an XD movie.

Home *****
9:10 PM

Man, WTF is this bullshiz?! They edited Home Alone 2! Those bastiches! Ugh..
...what, you want a title?
8:59 PM

Well, I've been bored all day. I slept until 2 PM. Geh. I haven't really done much since then.

I'm trying to clean up my PC. This includes running all the necessary scans (anti-virus, anti-spyware, and the like) and defragging. Boring stuff. Man, it's hot in my room. I'm moving into the living room.

Okay, I'm in the living room. Hey, Home Alone 2 is on ABC Family...why? It's not Christmas yet. Maybe they're airing it for me, 'cause I'm home alone, and I have nothing to do.

I've felt a bit depressed these last couple of days. Why? I dunno. Shut up.

I need money. I want a job, but I don't wanna work fast food. I wanna look for a job, but...well, I'm not gonna annoy you with more excuses, so whatever.

Speaking of excuses:

A "smashing" day
3:14 AM

Well, it's 3 AM and I'm not exactly sleepy yet, so logic tells me I should update my blog.

There was a Super Smash Bros. Melee tournament yesterday at GameXchange. I woke up early for that. Eventhough the tourney started at 1 PM, I woke up at 7 AM, just in case. Man, I am NOT used to being up so early. I felt really ill when I got up. I was hungry, but my stomach didn't want to take anything in. There were a few times that I felt like vomitting would've been a good idea. It was horrible. I guess I should start getting used to getting up early...but it doesn't help that I'm still awake at 3 AM. I stupidly took a nap yesterday at 5 PM, then woke up at 9 PM (to a phone call) and I wasn't tired anymore. Gah. I hate naps. They ruin everything, but they feel so good to take them...

I left for GameXchange at 12, to get there a bit early. I looked around and viewed some of my competition...a lot of them were little kids. :\

Jessica called me and met me at GameXchange. She gave me a box of computer stuff to give to Heath. She had just recently got a new computer, but it isn't working properly. In fact, I spent most of the previous night with Jessica...at Heath's, as we tried to get the compy fixed.

Jessica wanted to look at a Genesis...I tried to convince her to just wait for the Wii, which will be able to play Genesis games (via the Virtual Console), but she didn't listen to me, of course. ^-^

We met Cody there...what's his last name? I think it starts with an "F." Then Jordon showed up. Then Dillon showed up. The rest of the competition started to show up. Still, most of 'em were kids. There were these two freaky guys with beards that were competing. Adrian showed up late. He didn't even sign up prior to this, but he still got in.

Anyway, the tournament started. Three matches were to go on at once on three TVs. The area which the tournament took place was a small corner of the store. Not a really good place to spectate games, so I wasn't really paying attention to the fights going on. I did notice that there were a lot of Marth players. Bah. When my first round came up, I felt really bad. I was up against this little girl with a cast on her arm. WTF? Well, I'd hate to say I totally owned her, but I did. =[ Sorry, little girl. Good game, though.

During the second round, I got a freebie and didn't have to fight. I automatically moved onto the third round. Unfortunately, I would not advance beyond that. During the third round, I faced Jordon. We were pretty evenly matched. It was the stage that really threw us off. Damn Termina Bay! I had a lead at first, but he caught up to me. Eventually it came down to one life each. I got stuck under the laboratory platform and my participation in the tournament ended there. It was a good fight, and I enjoyed it, but I was sad that I didn't get to advance, and was even sadder when the final match (it was a three-way fight) was ALL MARTHS! UGH! They needed a Samus in there to break up the fight. ><

Wanna know who won? I don't know who won. Jordon got second place. I didn't win. That's 'bout it. Afterwards, me, Dillon, Adrian, and Cody decided to go to Adrian's house to have our own little tournament. Actually, there was no bracket involved, just a bunch of free-for-all 4-player matches. That was fun.

When I got home, I was sleepy, so I decided to take a nap. I had this dream where I got a 5th generation iPod on eBay. So what do I do when I wake up? I answer my cell phone 'cause Jessica calls me, asking if I won the tournament. Pshh. Then I get on my laptop and search for iPods on eBay. I spot a few auctions, and I ask Nick to bid on them for me, since I lack the eBay account and the eBay experience. He failed to get the final bid on the first auction, and the second auction got too high for me. Damn it, why does everyone want iPods? They suck! I just want one 'cause it goes together with my Macbook and DS Lite. :P Oh, I also lost my own digital audio player, so I want a new one...and not one that sucks.

I got my dwarven hunter to level 10 in WoW.

Whoa, they're showing Mask of the Phantasm on TNT! I wanna watch it...but I've already seen it recently and it's on my computer anyway...but I'm not sleepy. My parents want me to go to church today. Think I'll do it? I doubt it.

Heh, you notice how there was no transition between topics there? Yeah, I'm no writer.

Batman Begins: The Animated Movie
10:33 PM

Actually, I'm talking about Batman: Mask of the Phantasm, a very awesome animated film of the Batman animated series. It's an old movie, but it's great. It's another origin story for Batman, but still a good one.

I saw this movie a while ago, but I saw it again last night after downloading it. Though Batman Begins is a good movie, Mask of the Phantasm is a much better movie! It's unfortunate that the animated film did poorly at the box office.

Phantasm almost made me cry, seriously! What's with Batman being so awesome? He's just too awesome, you know!

And now I'm watching the TV movie of "World's Finest" on Cartoon Network. It's part of Superman: The Animated Series. Batman and Superman team up against Luthor and the Joker, but Batman and Supes aren't exactly the best of friends througout the whole thing.

Speaking of Superman, I'm not really sure about Superman Returns. I've never really been a big fan of Superman. I'd watch it if Batman was in it, though. There was once a Batman vs. Superman movie planned, y'know. That would've been awesome. But we all know who would've won anyway, right? Yeah, Batman.

Animator vs. Animation
11:31 PM

Holy moose, this is an awesome Flash movie. Probably the most original idea I've ever witnessed.
Attack of the Shiz
6:51 PM

Ugh...What the hell happened to Attack of the Show? It's absolutely horrible now...I used to like the show, mainly because of its focus on technology and stuff, which which what TechTV used to be about before G4 came into the picture.

Recently, Attack of the Show had gotten a makeover and some (a lot of) things were changed. Instead of being a "geek" show and focusing on technology, it's now got stuff like sports and cars and sex and crap. THEY FRIGGIN' SHAVED A GUY'S SCROTUM ON AIR. WTF?! They've also got this stupid segment "In Your Pants" in which some stupid sex expert gives sexual advice. WTF, I don't wanna watch this crap.

The show sucks now. I really have no reason to watch G4 now...

Also, I'm home alone today, and I haven't answered a single phone call. Why is this? All the calls are coming from "866" area codes, which are toll-free numbers. I'm not sure what that's all about, but I'm guessing it's telemarketing. If that's not the case, we've got an answering machine. If something is so urgent that they need to call us, they'll leave a message. Not a single message has been left. Ha.
Batman Beyond: Return of the Jedi
4:02 PM

And by Jedi, I mean Mark Hamill. and by Mark Hamill, I mean the Joker. Yeah, in case you guys didn't know, Luke Skywalker does the maniacle and pyschotic voice of the Joker in Batman: The Animated Series (and also in the other series in the DC Animated Universe, such as Justice League). He does an awesome job, too. I'd seriously love for Hamill to play the Joker in the Batman Begins sequel...

But anyway, I just finished watching Batman Beyond: Return of the Joker. It's an animated movie based in the DC Animated Universe, particularly Batman: The Animated Series and Batman Beyond, and, holy shiz, this is an awesome movie! I know a lot of you are gonna be like, "PHEH! CARTOON = FAILURE." ..well, actually, most of you that read this are anime fans, but this isn't exactly anime. Yeah, the animation was done by a Japanese studio, but a lot of anime distinctions are missing.

But anyway, despite the fact that the movie is an animated film, the movie is still friggin' awesome. In fact, most all of the Batman animated films are awesome. This includes Mask of the Phantasm and Sub-Zero. I haven't seen that Batwoman movie.

I'm sure some people will immediately ignore the film because it's a cartoon and their's a clown on the cover, and it's Batman, 'cause all you losers prefer someone stupid like Spider-Man for some reason. Let me tell you, that this "cartoon" is very dark, and quite disturbing! It really gives you the impression of how crazy the Joker really is. He's not just some clown who does silly things...he's a clown that does silly things and ends up killing people and ruining their lives, and after all that, he just laughs at what he's done. Yeah, he's crazy.

Seriously, I found this film to be very emotional, especially the flash back scene. I don't wanna spoil the movie for you, but what happens to Robin...man, it's sadistic. It makes you wanna punch the Joker in the face, but Batman does it for you.

Batman kicks serious ass. I don't know why so many people prefer Spider-Man over Batman. I finished watching Batman Begins last night (on DVD. I already saw it in theaters), and I found it much better than the Spider-Man movie. Spider-Man is so lame. -_-

Oh, and for a certain person's sake, Batman cannot fly. He can, however, glide with his cape or fly with the aid of a jetpack or plane.

No food for me...
9:02 PM

Ughh..this really pisses me off! My sisters keep eating all of MY food! Yesterday, I was hungry, so I bought some ice cream. One day later, when I come home from band, looking forward to having a bowl of Cookies 'n' Cream, I look in the freezer to find that it's GONE. I look in the other two freezers, and it's still nowhere to be found! I ask Sabrina if she ate it all. She says yes... ALSDKFjadkslfjlkwj l;awkjf!!ljasflk I BOUGHT THAT FSCKING ICE CREAM WITH MY OWN MONEY, yet I only get to eat one cone of it?! UGH! This pisses me off! They also ate a burger that was supposed to be saved for me while I was gone. Also, the meal (chicken fries) that I had left over from Burger King? That was gone, too. THEY FSCKING ATE ALL MY FOOD! They always do that crap! And my mom keeps telling me to share food with them. This is exactly the reason I don't share with them, because they end up eating all of it. -_-
Gamer times
4:57 PM

Ahhh, the smell of geek discussions...I haven't had a whiff of that in a while...

Today I went to the dentist and got my teeth cleaned. No problems there. Then I went to get my teeth dirty again by going to Burger King (drive-thru) and ordering a large number 7 with a Coca-Cola. Yup.

I went to GameXchange afterwards to see if they had New Super Mario Bros. for the DS in yet. I walked in and encountered these two kids talking to one of the employees. They were getting GBA games and stuff. They were kinda silly, acting like they were huge gamers and when the topic of discussion came to Final Fantasy VII, they said some weird stuff like, "Cloud is a baby" o_O. I found a used copy of New Super Mario Bros., but since the dude working there was a bit busy with his GBA "buddies", I went over to the game kiosks...or whatever they're called. I pick up the nasty, broken Gamecube controller and played a few rounds of Super Smash Bros. Melee. Then after getting frustrated by the crippled controller, I looked up and my eyes met a white board with the words "Super Smash Bros. Tournament!" or something like that...Hmm. Sounds like fun.

So I went back to the GBA dudes and they were still talking about stuff. Lalala, I decided to intervene and talk about Jenova cells or whatever. After the GBA friends left, the employee person noticed the New Super Mario Bros. box in my hand and he was like, "You're buying my game!!" or something like that. He had bought it previously, then sold it back, or something. So I bought it and we got into some conversation, and I signed up for the SSBM tourney. He later asked me my age. I told him I was 18, just graduated, and then he tells this other guy working there "This guys knows a lot about games" with "this guy" referring to me. The other guy asked me when the original NES launched and I was like, "Uhhh..." Apparently the answer is 1987. But anyway, I didn't think much of it then. We talked about Square-Enix and basketball and Super Mario Dodge Ball and the normal stuff. I said thanks to the guys and said I'd see 'em again at the tourney. I had to go home 'cause I didn't want my drink to become watery Coke in my car.

Then I came to the realization that I was possibly being considered for hire at GameXchange! It would've made sense! Asking my age, noticing my gaming knowledge", then quizzing me... BUT NOOO! I didn't realize it! BAH! Oh well. There were only two guys working there at that time. That might be more evidence that they were looking for people to hire. I think I missed another yummy opportunity. =[

But luckily, I've got New Super Mario Bros. now and it looks like I'm going to "compete" in a tournament Saturday at GameXchange at 1 PM. If you play SSBM, or if you're just feeling like fun, you should sign up as well! Or come and support me on Saturday. I doubt I'll go far in the tourney, though. I'm a bit rusty, and I don't do that "wave dashing" crap.

I guess I should get ready for municipal band...perhaps burn those Peach Girl episodes. Later.
Maybe I should've stuck with Windows...
12:46 PM

Ever since I got my Macbook, I've been praising OS X and dissing on Windows for not having the awesome features of OS X. Well...looks like this might change with Vista. Heh, silly Microsoft. It's almost like pulling a Sony! But good for Windows users, since they'll be able to uses some of OS X's nice features...if you decide to upgrade, that is. Bleh.

First anneurisms, then moving tumors, then a BOMB, now TRITI!
11:50 PM

I had to defuse a friggin' BOMB in Trauma Center. It's a a really interesting game...and then comes the Triti. Some fictional strain of a "GUILT" disease, in the form of a bunch of triangles, and the process of removal involves some obscure puzzle! ARRGH!

This game is pretty frustrating, mainly because of the annoying "drain" tool. It's so hard to utilize. You have to rub the tube up in order to simulate draining, but the tube is so thin that you usually tap outside of the tube, removing the tool from the work area and placing it in a new area. ><

Oh yeah, both my night elf druid and dwarven hunter are level 6 now...yup.
Umm...an update.
9:20 PM

Yesterday was a pretty cool day. I bought myself a lot of presents! It was a yummy day for me...though I didn't do much else (Keith and Ariel are away at camp this week =[).

Almost a month ago, I had sold my PSP (along with a game and memory stick) to GameXchange, and put some of that money towards a DS Lite pre-order. Well, the DS Lite was officially released yesterday, so I went over there to pick it up. I also planned to pick up eiter Trauma Center (a surgery game) or New Super Mario Bros. for the DS. I got my DS Lite, but GameXchange had neither games. I then took a look at their new DS games. I suppose GameXchange isn't the place to get new games! They only had like...3 games for the DS. Bahh. The guy I was talking with there showed me his DS Lite and his New Super Mario Bros. He seemed cool. He suggested I go to Wal-Mart to find New Super Mario Bros...but I went to GameStop instead to get Trauma Center. :P

I also went to Walmart that day and bought myself World of Warcraft and a mouse pad. My mother agreed to pay for the first three months of WoW. I wonder if I'll still be interested after four months (the first month is free).

But the point is: I have a DS Lite! Looks like my MacBook has a little brother!

The usual: click above picture for full-size.

As for WoW, I started out with a Night Elf druid...then today I started a Hunter dwarf. He's much more fun to play with! He's got a GUN!

Trauma Center is cool, but pretty frustrating! Stupid aneurisms! ARRGH! And now this little girl keeps dying 'cause of MOVING tumors. Yeah, this game isn't a simulation, obviously. :P

Fun with a MacBook, iSight, and iTunes

I forgot the lyrics half-way through the thing, so my lip-synching gets all messed up. They no longer include the middle of the song when I watch the show on TV. =[

Tremors 3: Back to Perfection
1:50 AM

I was transfering some Studio Ghibli films from my PC to my MacBook, and I decided to watch some of Howl's Moving Castle (which is a great movie that everyone should watch). While watching the movie, I felt some sort of odd longing for something. A weird thought popped up in my head... I felt that I was perfect for someone, and that person was perfect for me, but a previous and current relationship prevented a growth in our own relationship. Does that make any sense? If it didn't, good. Maybe I don't want it to make any sense. I feel really lonely all of a sudden, though.
Ugh @ Today

Man, today, was rather disappointing. I spent a while yesterday burning a Peach Girl DVD for Kara. It was a very long, tiring process, but I thought it was would be worth it, to maybe see Kara's eye light up as I handed it to her, maybe receive a "Thank youuu, J.R.!" or even a hug.

Encoding the episodes took forever. I had to leave it encoding overnight for it to finish. I also took the time to make a custom DVD menu. I even burned a few test DVDs to see if it actually worked. I put a lot of work into the DVD.

I planned to give Kara her little gift at municipal band practice today. She arrived late, but I thought I'd be patient for a change. You know, give it to her after practice. However, Kara and Jessica left rehearsal before it actually ended! Bah! So, to say the least, I was disappointed. No eyes lighting up and no hugs. Whatever. Maybe I'll give it to her tomorrow...or I'll probably miss my chance there, too. Pshh.

Oh yeah, they also missed out on their chance to get their Hello Panda. Yeah, Jess, if you're reading this: Sorry!! :P

I hate my Internet connection. It is so slow! I did an Internet test today and look:

It's a bit slower than cable is supposed to be, huh? Damn it! WTF is wrong with my connection! Even the Temoporals have a MUCH faster connection than me. Gahh, I hate this. I hate it so much. I swear, there is a problem here. I don't think it's supposed to be like this!

NOT about Graduation Party
11:41 PM

Sorry to disappoint you, but those who were curious about the party are going to have to wait a while longer (shame on you for not attending).

Today I spent some of my graduation money. I started out with around 390 dollars, and I've got 176 left. I met Jessica at Walmart (I had to give her her silly Peach Girl episodes). I purchase the following things: a Nikon CoolPix L3 digital camera (around 177 dollars), a 50 pack of blank DVD-R's (20 dollars, used a giftcard), a 5-button HP Optical mouse (around 20 dollars), some Minute Maid berry juice, a 12-pack of Coca-Cola, and...I think that's it. Jessica bought some Pocky.

Originally, I wanted a Kodak EasyShare V530, however, when I got there, under the camera on display was a sign that read "Deleted Out." I talked to some guy working there and he said that they didn't have them in stock anymore and probably wouldn't get them in again. I was like, "Well ****." I eventually settled on the Nikon 'cause it was small and similar to the V530. Then when I got home, I looked up some reviews on the Nikon. They weren't that great. I considered returning the Nikon, but I was like, "What the hell. I have a camera, and that's what I wanted."

My new workstation :P
The 5-button mouse was my best purchase. It's a glossy white, so it matches my Macbook (which I bought the mouse for). However, the drivers aren't supported for OS X (they even came on a mini disc, which won't even work in the Macbook's slot-loading drive), so the extra buttons don't work. But it's really cool, 'cause I don't have to depend on this stupid trackpad anymore. Also, the mousewheel lights up! If I had a Macbook Pro, it'd match the light-up keyboard, too.

Aaaand...yeah. I got nothing much else to say.

Live Blogging.
11:45 PM

Right now, I'm on the loop, going to Movies 8 with Keith. He's driving and stuff. There are these two big-ass trucks right here. Wait...three....it's scary. Heh. This is so cool. I'm able to blog in real-time thanks to this MacBook! And all I gotta do to publish it is find a wireless access point and click "Publish Post."

Now the trucks are gone. It's less scary now. Uhhh...it's 9:27 according to the truck's clock. Weee! This is fun! Live blogging. Woo hoo!

I think we're going to see "Stick It." Sounds like a horrible movie, but whatever. I've got nothing better to do. We're passing Atwoods now. There's Whataburger. Look, Paris Regional Medical Center...North? I think it's North. Chili's is coming up-- there it is. Hahahahah. Taking an exit.

We're pretty close. The movie starts at like 9:45. Neato. Yup. Okay. I'm gonna stop now. I'll be back after the movie's done or something.

Okay, the movie's over. Man, it was pretty horrible. There was no real central plot to the movie. By the end of the movie, it seemed like they threw out everything that had happened previously and just made some stuff up, which was actually pretty cool 'cause that's when the movie actually became interesting. However, I don't suggest anyone see the movie, because it still sucked, overall.

I guess we're all going to Sonic now, because Lauren wants some ice cream. Oh yeah, I never mentioned who else was present during this whole sequence of occasions. There was me and Keith, then Sam, Emily, Lauren, and later Sabrina showed up. Yeah.

Now we're passing a truck that has some letter stickers on the back window that are arranged in a fashion that spells out "Morgan" if read from left to right.

There goes a yellow fire hydrant.

Oh, here's Sonic. Wee!

Now what are we gonna do? Let's find out. Don't you love live blogging?

I suppose I'm gonna get some ice cream now. I guess they're closed now. HahahaHAHAeHaHA. Now Sam is outside the window. He's looking at me typing. That's funny. It makes me laugh. Yup. Now Keith is turning up his stupid-ass music. Damn it.

I'm hot.

Now people are planning to do something...or something. Keith is "going with y'all." I dunno what that means. Now he's talking about the band hall. WTF. OMG OMG OMG OMG OMG. Wow, I just got access to a wireless access point. It's unprotected, so I guess I can use it. Heh. I'm gonna post now. Heh. I guess not. I can't connect anymore. Oh well. Kekeke, I was probably doing something illegal anyway. :P

Now...we're not doing anything. I'm alone in the car, the keys in the ignition. I suppose I could just drive off. Heh..heh..heh.

There are 3 other wireless access points within rage. I'ßm hesitant to try to connect to them. I won't. I'll wait 'til I get home. Man, I'm bored...WTF are we doing? Gahhh. I heard my name. I think Sabrina said it. They're probably talking about how sexy I am.

We're going to Wade Park now...WTF! My seatbelt won't come out! Gah, I hope Keith doesn't get in an accident...WTF are we gonna do at Wade Park? Eh, we'll see...Maybe I'll fin== Hey, look, another access point. "intouchparis." I won't connect. :P Look, there's the park right there. Wait, why am I telling you to look? You can't see? Man, all the reason to want a new digital camera. Okay, we're parking now. Wee.

Keith believes we're suspicious. Kekekeke.

Okay, we're in the back of Keith's truck now. This is called "hanging out", I suppose. WTF? OMG. There's a bee right next to me. Sam is asking me to kill it. I say no. Let's see if it can fly. I stepped on it. It didn't fly. =[

Hey, I got a signal now. Wee.

"Baby, baby, baby, baby, oh, baby."
1:01 PM

Wow, it's so much easier to update my blog now. I just woke up and I can make an entry about a dream before I forget it! ...unfortunately I've already forgotten it. =[ But the potential is there for future dreams.

Let's see. Oh yeah, Project Graduation.

I arrived at the Paris High School parking lot around 11:30. We weren't able to bring anything in but our car keys and cell phones, so I couldn't show off my MacBook to my friends. Also, if we returned to our cars, we wouldn't be able come back to the event. I'm not sure why these rules were set in place, but whatever. I retrieved a mandatory glowstick (blue) for unknown reasons and entered the gym.

I was met with lots of candy on the tables and some pizza. I hadn't eaten much all day, except for a hamburger and some fries at the Neighborhood Cafe many hours earlier. For some reason, I just wasn't hungry that night. I would eat, though, for other reasons. ^-^;

In the actual gym were some inflatable...uh..attractions: some sort of obstacle course, a mechanical bull, and one of those thing in "American Gladiators" that you hit each other in with giant Q-Tips.

In the "other" gym were some other games, but I didn't go there much. There was some sumo wrestling thing with body suits and some other games that resembled a few temple games from "Legends of the Hidden Temple."

I really didn't participate in these games. I did the obstacle course thing, which was cool, though I lost my keys in it. There was also the Q-Tip thing...and I got sick after that. I wanted to vomit. I NEEDED to vomit.

I proceeded to the restroom, into a stall, where I attempted to vomit. I was unsuccessful because there was nothing to vomit! I had to eat something first. So I got a single slice of pizza, reluctantly ate half of it, then returned to the restroom for a job well done.

I, for some reason, signed up for the "Paris Idol" Karaoke contest. There were like...5 contestants in all, and I don't think any of them were serious about competing (except for maybe Taylor...). I had decided to sing "Superstar" by the Carpenters. I was very nervous when I got up there, and to be honest, that was my first time to sing Karaoke. My voice was all shaky, and I kept making exaggerated body movements, as if I were drunk (which, according to Natalie, people thought I was ^-^;). Apparently, many people enjoyed my act, even more so than the performances of the other contestants, because when it came time for the audience to "vote", I got the largest cheers. However, I only one second place. Taylor one first, most likely because she could actually sing or something. Whatever, I got my 15 minutes of fame. Heh, afterwards, people even told me I should've won, "you were gypped", "it was rigged", "sing for me", and silly stuff like that. It was cool.

Leslie and Taylor asked me as I stood out there why I would do something like this, especially since I'm usually very quiet. I didn't give them an answer then, but if they want an answer, they should read my blog. I did this whole silly karaoke stunt because this was probably the last time I'd see many of my fellow classmates. I wanted to leave some sort of impression on them, a great, fun memory of me. 'course, they might just forget about the whole thing, but I still think it's pretty cool. Yeah. Yup.

After the whole karaoke affair, I didn't do much else. I can't think of anything that I did. I got 5 dollars for something.

Oh yeah, the hypnotist guy. There was this hypnotist who "hypnotized" a few of our classmates into doing and saying silly things. It was quite amusing, but I'm a bit skeptical of the genuineness of the whole thing. It seemed too elaborate and drawn-out to be real. I'm thinking it was all planned before-hand. And if hypnotists can really do stuff like that, man, I wanna be a hypnotist. Let's just say that if I were one-- well, nevermind. That's not appropriate. :P However, despite the questionable circumstances on whether it was real or not, it was highly entertaining.

After that...I dunno. I guess we cleaned up and stuff. Each remaining participant of Project Graduation received 80 dollars. No laptops or anything like that. =[ I was hoping to win another one. ^-'

Then it was over. The End. Not exactly the most exciting night/morning of my life. Where the hell were the video games? Pshh.

The graduation festivities were not over yet, however. The remaining night would be the night of my Graduation Party...
Those rotten Apples...
12:52 PM

WTF, I got screwed. Apple is offering a "Buy a Mac & get a free iPod nano" promotion. However, since I bought my MacBook before June 5th, I'm not eligble for the 179 dollar rebate on an iPod. Damn it! That ain't fair!

"Pomp and Circumstance"
2:26 PM

WTF does that phrase mean, and why is it a graduation song? Wikipedia never fails me.

Anyway, this is my first blog entry since my graduation from high school! And it's also the first entry I'm typing on my MacBook! I'd seriously be posting some pictures of it here...but unfortunately, my digital camera sucks and is out of batteries (it runs on Double A's, which is why it sucks). Maybe I'll buy a new camera with my graduation money.

F12: My MacBook's Dashboard!

Okay, I graduated two days ago, on June 2nd? Hmm, I'm not sure day it was. Let's just press F12 on my MacBook keyboard aaaand...yep! It was the second!

Rehearsal was around 10 AM that morning. I had stayed the night at Keith and Ariel's the previous night, and when I stay there, I usually wake up really early. It was like...8 o'clock when I got up. I didn't even bother taking a shower because I was gonna get hot and sweaty anyway...I even continued to wear my Zelda jacket in the heat. Actually, it wasn't that hot, until I sat down. That's when it got uncomfortable. Rehearsal went along pretty smoothly.

Afterwards, I got my 1400 dollar haircut. Ugh...I really don't like it, but everyone else seems to. Bah. However, it'll grow back.

When I got back home, I checked the order status on my MacBook online. In big bold letters it said, "Delivered." I apparently had missed the huge cardboard box on the way to my room. I proceeded to excitedly unbox my lovely notebook computer and all was happy and well. I later went to Keith and Ariel's again to test out the wireless capabilites and get the hang of OSX.

Man, OSX is crazy as a moose. It's similar to Windows, but very different. At first, I was really disappointed. When I figured out I couldn't maximize a Window, I was like, "WTF? This sucks. I should've gotten a Windows notebook instead!" And then I had a crapload of trouble trying to find out how to install and uninstall applications. It's kinda funny how the process was so simple (all you have to do is download an app and run it to "install", and if you wanna uninstall, just delete the application!) Since I'm so used to Windows being a hassle to install and uninstall, I was expecting another hassle with OSX. However, I eventually got used to it, and all the really neat features of a Mac have really grown on me! And it just looks sexy! The GUI is really awesome, and well-animated. This is like the future of OS GUI's...I hear Vista is incorporating some of these animated elements. Just shows how awesome OSX is. I'm still learning, too.

Anyways, fast-forward to 7:30 PM. That's when I had to get to graduation. Graduation was a pretty memorable event. It was pretty cool, you know. I smiled on impulse when my name was called. That's odd. However, I didn't like the informality of the event. Mr. Preston constantly emphasized that the event would be very formal, unlike a lot of high school events. However, even after he made the announcement to the friends and families among the audience to "save your applause 'til all graduates have been called", after the first name was called, you heard loads of hoot and hollers. OMG, that ruined everything. It all went downhill from there. It got to the point that people were using air horns (or whatever those things were called). It was pretty much a football game without the actual game. It was so stupid, and IMO, disrespectful. It probably felt horrible/embarassing to NOT get loud cheers with the calling of your name. It should've been the other way around. Man...it was like Texas Scholars all over again.

After that, I looked for my parents, after being "kidnapped" by a certain person. Ugh, that person annoys me to no end. She just wouldn't let go of me and insisted she guide me to my parents like a child. She had a strong grip, too. I eventually ditched her when she wasn't looking and easily found my parents by myself. I chatted with a few friends afterwards, then went home to get ready for Project Graduation.

I'll talk about that in a later entry...and hopefully I won't continue to procrastinate like I've been doing with Memphis: Day 1 and 2.

The End of (School) Days
3:45 PM

Today was the last day of high school for me. Seems rather..uneventful! I'd expect this to be an epic day, but I guess not. Perhaps the epicity (or whatever the noun form of "epic" is) is being saved for tomorrow, graduation day.

Holy shiz. I passed Calculus! Can you believe that? I passed with like a 76 or something. I don't remember, but I did it. It's all thanks to the semester exam, which was a multiple-choice take-home test. Thank you, Mrs. Waldrum, for such a lovely gift! I honestly did do some of it, but with the help of "The Integrator" and people (Nick) who actually knew WTF they were doing, I was able to make a 100 on it...along with the other three people who took the test. ^-^;

After that, me, Josh, and Nick went to eat at Chili's. I owe Nick 2 dollars now. Hahaha, I need to stop owing people money. I still haven't paid Natalie the 4 dollars I owe her...though I swear I should only owe her 3. Whatever.

I think I'll be contributing my musical talents to municipal band this summer. That's like some community band in which the members get paid moneys. I like that idea. There's supposed to be a rehearsal tonight. I suppose I should go, but I'm kinda reluctant. I honestly suck at playing the trumpet, and I prolly won't know anyone else (that plays trumpet) there.

I want my MacBook!
Before I make the killer's job easier...
