New layout.
10:05 PM

I updated the layout of this site. Obviously, it's inspired by Apple. If you think this is because I'm highly anticipating the arrival of my MacBook, well...you're right. ^-^

Also, for some reason, whenever I view this page in IE in a maximized window, the text ends up all messed up, like this:

If this is happening to you, do the following things:
  • Leave a comment about the page looking weird.
  • Stop using Internet Explorer anymore (Get Firefox).
Stuff to do when not at school: Retag MP3 Collection...
12:58 PM

I have to fix all this...
Well, with nothing to do, I decided to retag and organize my MP3 collection. I've done this a few times before, but I got lazy again, acquired a whole bunch of music, and now it's a mess...again.

I redid some stuff for about an hour, and I've still got a long way to go. This is gonna take forever...

On a side note, I want my Macbook and DS Lite now. I need my glossy white and sexy electronic devices!
Sex !=...GOLF!?
10:23 AM

Watch this video very carefully...

Notice anything? How 'bout "girl physics"! WTF? Now they're adding that stuff to GOLF GAMES?! Eh, what else would I expect from Tecmo? ^-^; Also, notice how DOA's Kasumi is in the game. Now that she's on a Nintendo console, maybe she'll be in Smash Bros. Brawl! Then we can have bouncing boobies in that game, too!
Stay in School...
10:17 AM

...unless you're exempt from today's semester exams! Yeap. I'm at home now. No school for me today. Well, I did have some school. I had to show up in the school cafeteria at 9:45 AM to sign in, otherwise I'd be counted as absent have given a zero in all the exams I'd have that day. But, I signed in.

It was a bit scary, though. I had no documentation with me that specified the time "9:45." I just had that number in my head from something. I was wondering why they would make us come to school over an hour after the day officially started. I thought maybe it might've been "8:45", but when I sounded the time in my head, it just didn't sound familiar! Luckily, it was 9:45, so no problem.

But now I'm bored. Heh. Got nothin' to do since most of my friends are still in school. Maybe I'll redesign this blog or something. I dunno.

Sex != Entertainment
6:56 PM

For you math programming n00bs, "!=" means "not equal to." Therefore the title of this blog post means "Sex doesn't equal entertainment" as far as I'm concerned.

This whole thought came into my head while I was watching Cinematech late one night. It was constantly showing clips from Rumble Roses XX (screenshot to the right) for the Xbox 360. Apparently this is some sort of wrestling game. The wrestling looks pretty fun, but I wouldn't play it. Why? Because the character roster ONLY features sexy women in scant outfits! Normally this would appeal to most guys, right? For me, no. I prefer to keep my sexual thoughts separate from my...uhh...gaming experiences. Maybe I'd be interested in the game if it featured the likes of real wrestlers, or maybe even some shirtless, buff, fictional male wrestlers, but with the way the game is now, I'm not dying to play it.

It's the same thing with fighting games. I absoultely HATE it when the developers have to add "physics" to certain parts of a female character model's anatomy. I think it detracts from the fun. I play games to have fun, not necessarily sexual arrousion. No, I've got other ways to satisfuy that desire, and it's not while playing a game with some friends!

This also holds true for other media of entertainment. Movies, for instance. I seriously hate most rated-R movies because of the unecessary sex scenes! I'm sure there are a lot of good R action movies out there, but they just lose the awesomeness onces I see some boobies. Damn it! If I wanted to watch a sex scene I'd watch a porn! Stop trying to appeal to more than one side of me! Stop mixing my desires!

I guess I could also go off on the whole "degrading to women" thing, but I think it's degrading to men, as well. Obviously, not all guys are into this "sex sells" crap, but that's the stereo-type and I'm met with it 'cause I'm a guy. DUMB.

Motoko from Love Hina
But back to the skimpy girls in fighting games. Seriously...why do those girls wear such revealing clothing in combat? Wouldn't it make more sense to wear MORE clothing while fighting? You know, armor for protection. I'm also sure those breasts often get in the way. Shouldn't they at least be wearing a sports bra? Motoko from Love Hina had the right idea. She taped those babies down so they wouldn't get in the way of her training! She's smart, and a good model for all anime/video game women.

Samus is also a good model for women. She actually wears a full suit of armor when she goes into battle. Now that's sexy and awesome at the same time.

It was also pretty damn hard to find example pictures for this entry, 'cause I kept running into hentai on Google Image Search! You see, this kinda stuff even disrupts WORK! This is horrible!

Sex is only appealing to my mind under certain romantic circumstances...well, usually. I am a guy, afterall. However, I don't think of sex as simply a means of entertainment. "Sex sells"? More like "sex PHAILS."

Man, fsck integrals! I hate them so much! It's not like I really need Calculus, anyway...so does it really matter if I fail? The only bad thing is that I wasted money because I don't get any credit for the class, right? Maybe I'll pull of a miracle and make a good grade on the semester exam...heh, but, you know me. ^-^;

It kinda makes me sad, though...I could've just skipped Calculus all together this year, and not have to deal with any of it's BS. I could've taken Art with Kara. =[ Oh well, no use regretting the past.

MacBook is MINE.
6:16 PM

I'm getting a MacBook! ...in exchange for a HAIRCUT. My mother agreed to buy me a MacBook if I got a haircut for graduation. I think it's a fair trade. ^-^ I'm so happyyy. I cannot wait!

I should finish my Apple scholarship soon, though...it's, uh...due in like..two days. I'm confused about the essay questions, though. Does "250 words" mean a maximum of 250 words or a minimum? I'm going a few words over 250...

I also want to learn how to play the violin...

Anti-Prom Festivities
11:55 PM

Anti-prom festivities included:
  • TimeSplitters 2
  • The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker
  • Super Smash Bros. Melee
  • Metroid Prime
  • eating at The Neighborhood Café
  • washing my car
  • cleaning out my car
  • partially cleaning my room
All in all...I'd say it was a good day! Much better than some other activites that others are indulging in right now. Yeah!
Anti-Prom
2:04 PM

Bahahah, today is prom night. ROFL. Such a silly event. Perhaps I'm cursing it out of envy of others or the fact that I'm just not going, but like that really matters. It's all the same: I don't like the prom right now. So today is my official "Anti-Prom day."

Maybe something exciting will happen today. I don't know. I was going to hang out with Ariel, but he's going to hang with his girlfriend for most of the day. BAH. Stupid. Oh well.

Everyone's party starts at...what...7:00? I'll start mine then, too. If I had a Macbook, I'd keep everyone up to date with live coverage of my awesome activities...But, nah. That's silly, 'cause I'm not gonna be doing anything worth that anyway. Hell, making this entry is probably going to end up as the highlight of my day.

Prom is silly! Woooo! PARTY!!

Oh yeah: Wonderful Dream.
8:44 PM

I had this wonderful dream last night. It was great. I really liked it. I was so upset when I woke up and found out it was just a dream. I could've cried if I wasn't so awesome.

Anyone remember that girl? Stephanie Marnocha? That really smart and talented girl, back in middle school. Yeah, I used to have this huge crush on her. 'course, this was back when I very...not social, and I was a stupid-ass little kid and I was silly, even more silly than I am now.

Anyway, in the dream, for some odd reason, Stephanie came back to Paris and began to attend Paris High School. Of course, I didn't question such an odd occurrence in the dream. It all was perfectly normal according to dream logic. Anyway, we begin talking in the dream, socializing. We become good friends, and within a short span of dream time, I ask her out to dinner. She delightfully agrees, and we're in some unknown, yet romantic restaurant. Then I'm not sure what happened after that. I guess I woke up at that point. I dunno. Whatever. It was a pleasant dream.

However, it was just a dream. Stephanie is most likely gone from my life forever. She probably doesn't even remember who I am. Pshh, like it matters to me. I've got plenty of other women to worry about presently. ^-^;
Goodbye PSP
8:12 PM

I ventured to GameXchange today, carrying a Lego bucket, suspiciuosly absent of Legos. Yes, instead, it was filled with a PSP, PSP documentation, the PSP AC adapter, those shizzy PSP headphones, a PlayGear Pocket Case, a one gigabyte MemoryStick, and Me and My Katamari. I soon parted with all of this, in exchange for...I'm not sure how much money I got in store credit. I pre-ordered a DS Lite and I've got 25 bucks left over. I think it's fair, considering the PSP was semi-defective (less sensitive left directional button), of inferior firmware (2.6), and pretty much useless and boring. I patiently await June 11th for my DS Lite.

In other news, Natalie pointed me in the direction of an Apple Scholarship. I could earn 2000 dollars, a MacBook Pro, and an iPod nano! If I win this scholarship, my notebook computer problems are over! ...of course...what are the chances of that happening? Eh, I'll give it a shot.

I AM NOT GAY.
3:05 PM

If you know me, I'm sure you're familiar with my "odd" behavior. I'm not any ordinary guy. I've got some strange quirks about me, which, I believe, make me such a likable person. However, there are times when I make people uncomfortable, especially when among those of the same sex as me (male). Some could say that I act gay. Those people are correct. Some could say that I am gay. Those people are incorrect!

Sure, I've got an affinity for the likes of Vin Diesel, Tom Cruise, and Rick Moranis, but that's 'cause I aspire to be like them! They are my heroes (except for maybe Tom Cruise. He's a loser...a really hot-lookin' loser)! My homosexual-esque acts are for one purpose only: attention. Yes, I admit that I'm a slight attention whore, but aren't we all? I want to be a fun guy. I want entertain people. However, I fear that my less-than heterosexual behaviour might scare off a few potential mates. Seriously, Kara has been inclined to think I'm gay. Jessica even thought I was gay while I was dating her! I'm not gay, damn it! I love girls! If anything, I'm a lesbian!

So, yeah. I'm not gay. Cam Clarke is gay, though. He's cool. See, I've got nothing against gay people (except maybe lesbians, 'cause that means less girls for me). I'm a heterosexual.

Mactop?
9:00 PM

I've also decided on a computer that I want for college (eventhough I'll simply be attending the local junior college next year). I want a Macbook. A white Macbook, 2.0 GHz, 512 MB or RAM, 100 GB hard drive, a 13-inch wide-screen display, and...an integrated graphics card. I'm not really worried about the integrated video card, as I don't plan to do much gaming on it. I mean, my portable gaming should be done on the DS and PSP. With the educational discount, I should be able to get one at $1,349. 'course, I WOULD like to go for a MacBook Pro ('cause it's got a lighted keyboard!...and a bigger display and a better video card), but that's more money...unless my parents are willing to spend more money, then it's a 15.4-inch MacBook pro all the way!

The Macbook will be my first adventure into the world of Macs and OSX. I'm sure it'll be an interesting journey. I'm bit worried about the heat issues of the Mac laptops, though...they're not really "laptops" because they'll burn you if you keep 'em in your lap too long. ^-^;
Banquets and Bandages
8:45 PM

Yesterday was the Band Banquet. They have one of these every year in high school to celebrate the band-related accomplishments of the year and the senior band members who have stuck with the program for so long.

The one last night was the only one I've attended. Of course, as a senior, I was an honored guest. It was pretty interesting. It was nice that I actuallly got some recognition for something. I got some award/prize for looking like Elvis (eventhough I don't think I look at all like him). I also got a 20-dollar gift card for Hastings. And...uhh...my section of the senior PowerPoint presentation had the most pictures. It was neat. I was hopped up off caffeine prior to the events. I was hyper. Nick thought I was doing "something else." ^-^;

Then after that was the, uh...after party. I was still caffeinated and ready to party, but when the actual party began, I met my arch enemy: dancing to hip hop music. >< Ughhh, I can't do that. I just feel like a moron, and I am a moron, because I shouldn't be afraid of looking like an idiot. Everyone else looks like an idiot, too! I should be afraid of NOT looking like an idiot. But...man. Yeah, I was a loser. I hardly danced. There was one point where I went crazy and hopped around and stuff and pull a Ric Flair ("Wooooooooooo!"). But, other than that, yep...boring. I did get to see Heath's motorized bicycle, though. I got to hang with Natalie..for some short period of time. I technically danced with her. She suggested I continue the party at my house. Man, that would've been so awesome if I could. BUT NOOOOO, I couldn't, 'cause that's not right and a parental was at home. Boooo.

So I left the party, still a bit hyper and I REQUIRED more socialization. So I called Kara. Bah, she's talking to her boyfriend. I called Jessica. Bah, she comes up with some excuse to leave the conversation. I call Keith. Nooo, he doesn't answer (though he calls back later, but I'm not at the phone at that point).

Then I went to sleep. It was around 11 PM when I did this. I woke up again at 4 AM. Maybe it was the caffeine that was still in my system, but I just couldn't go back to sleep. I couldn't help but grind my teeth at angry thoughts of crap like the stupid prom. I was too frustrated and angered to go back to sleep. So I stayed up doing something. I forget what exactly. I think I was watching cartoons...

Then I woke up again at 11 AM...then I went back to sleep. Then my mom woke me up at 2 PM to take my medicine. Then I woke up again at 4 PM. My day today was horribly boring. The Internet was down! I had nothing to do! It was really really hot in my room! I couldn't stand being in it (it still is hot). So I set up my Gamecube in my parents room and unlocked a few more characters in Smash Bros. Melee. Then after that, I was bored again. I had nothing to do with the Internet down...

I've come to another realization that I am in need of the following things: a more exciting hobby, a girlfriend, a job. Meeting these objectives will allow me to live an easier, more fulfilling, and less boring life. Let's get to work on that, 'kay? I'm thinking about motocross as a hobby. Wait, no, that's expensive, complicated, and dangerous. Bah, I'll think of something. I kinda want a motorcycle, though.

Shattered Hearts, Broken Lives(?): The Devil ALMOST Cried.
6:34 PM

A bunch of people died at school today. I'm serious. There was this huge, horrible wreck involving two (or even three) vehicles, and one girl died in it, along with a bunch of other people that died in class. It was sad...in more ways than one.

Yes, this was the "mock crash." Apparently, every other year at Paris High school, they have this huge, elaborate anti-drunk driving campaign in the form of a faked car accident and the removal of students from class every 15 minutes, symbolizing that every 15 minutes drunk driving claims another grave. Deep stuff, I suppose. I can understand this actually putting people into very emotional states about drunk driving if they don't already see the dangers of drinking and driving. But most people think its lame. Eh, I dunno. I think it's a fair effort in spreading a meaningful word.

The actual crash was meh. This was probably the least convincing part of the campaign if you like to be overly observant. The girl supposedly flew from the passenger seat of one car and onto the hood of another...but the whole in the windshield was on the driver's side. Heh. That's kinda odd. I suppose there are a few situations where this outcome with the exact scenario could come about in real life, but it's still really odd. I really couldn't see much during the act. All I could really see were heads, a tree, and a pole. Seriously, from every angle I tried to view the wreck, it was blocked by something. I could hear Natalie's mother wailing. I guess she did a good job acting. I'm not sure how a real mother would react to the site of her daughter's lifeless body lying on the hood of a totaled car, but I'm guessing it'd be that of hysterical, and she sounded like it.

I think I could've done a better job acting, though. Aidan, the dude who was supposedly driving drunk, and the only concious victim of the wreck, was basically like, "Natalie? Natalie! NATALIEEEE!!" I half-expected the Metal Gear game over theme to play as he screamed this. Maybe he could've even fit in a Darth Vader "Noooooooooooo!" Seriously, I would've done a much better job...as long as they'd allow me to. If I were in such a situation, I'd be cursing up a storm. I'd be like, "Oh my God...no...What the hell? WHAT THE F*CK!?!?! GOD DAMN IT! NO!!" and I'd punch start punching the vehicle or the pavement or something and start crying: emotional breakdown and crap. I mean, being responsible for a person's death requires a larger reaction than "Natalie!" Yeah. I think I would've done better. >=[

There was also a helicopter.

At the end of the day, there was a funeral for Natalie. That was probably the best part about the campaign. That was pretty sad and emotional. It started off with a poem about drinking and driving and stuff. And then a letter from Natalie to her parents that she would've written while lying on the hood of that car, under the tarp (damn, that must've been uncomfortable). Yeah, sounds kinda silly, but it was pretty good...though I was kinda angered at how it made it seem like it was ALL Aidan's fault. The letter said crap like, "He's the one that drunk and drive! Why did I die? HOW COULD THIS HAPPEN TO MEEEE!" Well, forgive me if this is a bit rude, but I think it's kinda Natalie's fault as well. I mean, she chose to get in the car with a drunk driver. She wasn't like, "OMG! NOES! NO DRIVING, PUNK! LET ME DRIVE, MOFO! YOU DRUNK AS HELL, DUDE! EFF J00!" She was like, "Okie dokies. Let's goo! WOOO!" Then...BAM. Death. Other than that silly thing, it was pretty cool (not that I'd actually say that about a real funeral... >_>).

So, don't drink and drive kids. Hell, don't drink at all. The message at the funeral at the beginning was "Don't drink until you're 21." WTF? Don't drink EVER. The only reason that people drink is to get drunk and damage their bodies and spirit. That's messed up. Don't deal with that crap. Alcohol is friggin' dumb. It's overated and highly uncessary (at least when it comes to getting drunk). If you have to rely on a drunken stupor for fun, well, I guess you're a pretty boring person. Maybe even pathetic.

A'ight, I don't think I'll ever talk about Memphis: Day 2 and 3. At least, I won't unless someone actually asks me too. Then I'll know that someone cares and I'll feel better about doing it. Otherwise, you guys ain't getting shiz.

PS3 continues to PHAIL
11:09 PM

Ehh, the "no wireless controller" thing turned about to be false, but the lack of HDMI, Wi-Fi, and Memory Stick reader still holds true.

The 500 dollar PS3 will not support wireless controllers. On top of that, it won't be able to display high definition pictures, it won't be WiFi-compatible, and Memory Stick functionality and memory expansion is not an option. Oh yeah, the radioactive spider-bitten Playstation 3 logo will not be in chrome lettering. The PS3 is not 500 dollars, folks. The PS3 is 600 dollars.
Desktop Samus

I made a new desktop wallpaper! This time, it features the sexy Samus. As usual, I did not do the art. I simply took a bunch of existing art and spliced it together to make a prettier picture. Yummy.
I wanna Wii!
3:31 PM

E3 2006 is over, and, according to many, Nintendo "won." Seriously, the Wii impressed MANY people, and the strong DS line-up wasn't bad either. Microsoft also had a solid line-up of games (Gears of War looks awesome). Sony...well...PHAILURE.

I was gonna get a Wii anyway, but I want one more now. Oh yeah, and there's this game called Super Smash Bros. Brawl, and, holy crap, I'm catching myself watching the trailer over and over and over. New characters? Meta Knight (from Kirby), Pit (from Kid Icarus), Wario, Zero Suit Samus (sexy picture above, from Metroid), and...some guy named...Solid Snake (from Konami's Metal Gear). Holy shiz. This is going to rock!

Other than SSBB, I think I'll be picking up Metroid Prime 3, The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess, and possibly Project H.A.M.M.E.R. at Wii's launch. Dillon has agreed to get Red Steel, and I think Wario Ware, so we'll be able to share games. All these games look awesome (and not exactly graphic-wise).

Oh yeah, don't worry guys. I'll update my "Memphis Trip" with days one and two...someday. :P

Hold It! Take that!
6:36 PM

Phoenix Wright Ace Attorney: Justice For All has been announced for the Nintendo DS!

Apparently, the game will be a remake of Gyakuten Saiban 2, or the Japanese version of the game, which was released a long time ago on the Gameboy Advance. It'll feature all the neat touch-screen and microphone features from the first game, but there won't be any luminol or fingerprint testing this time, as it seems like no bonus cases will be added. Still, it's going to kick ass, because Phoenix Wright kicks ass. I spent HOURS (more than 2) playing the cases of the first game, and I usually don't play games over more than 2-hour periods.

As we all should know, this week is the week of E3 2006. Other awesome news include Nintendo's Wii and the StupidStation 3 (Playstation 3).

Honestly, I'm really not that interested in getting a PS3. The only games I want to play on it are Metal Gear Solid 4 and Final Fantasy XIII. The fact that it's 600 dollars is also a big turn-off. I think I might get a 360 instead for Gears of War and Too Human (and I guess Halo 3, but I was never really much of a Halo fan). The 360 acquisition is still a big "maybe", though. I'm definitely getting a Wii.

As for updating my story on the senior band trip to Memphis, Tennessee...don't worry. I'll get to it eventually.

Also, check out the new cover I made for my yearbook (to replace the ugly one)

Unfortunately, I printed the thing out wrong, so it's not very high-quality, and I ran out of shiny paper. Also, if I wanted to print it out in high-quality, I'd have to redo it again at a higher resolution. Silly me.

LOL @ Sony
9:37 PM

Playstation 3 with a 20GB hard drive: $500
Playstation 3 with a 50GB hard drive: $600
Playstation 3 making a weak attempt to rip off Nintendo: Without price (ha, got you there, huh?)

Today, Sony held their pre-E3 press conference. I didn't actually see it, but I did read the Joystiq article that went over the details as it happened. They showed some videos and stuff. I guess they showed off some nice graphics or something. I didn't get to watch them. But the biggest news was that Sony is ripping off of Xbox Live and the "Wiimote." Oh, Sony, you silly little bizzness. Eff you.

Sony is including motion-sensing technology on the PS3's controller (which is, otherwise, a wireless, silver DualShock 2. No more banana/boomerang). Of course, the PS3's motion-sensing capabilities are far behind from Nintendo's Wii. The PS3's controller is only capable of "6 degrees" of free movement. It doesn't detect where you move it in a 3D space. The Wii's controller does. Nintendo's Wii can detect the movement of the controller, the placement of the controller, the distance of the controller from the system, and the acceleration of the controller's movement. Obviously, the Wii is superior, and Sony probably did a quick, half-ass rip off job.

Sony stole the analog stick.
Sony stole the rumble.

We shouldn't be surprised.

Also, the PS3 is $500-600 (for the 20 GB and the 60 GB HDD, respectively). That's way too much for a game console. I think I'll go Wii and 360. Looks like I'll have to skip out on Metal Gear Solid 4 for now. =[

May in Memphis: Day One
10:58 PM

Some street far away from Beale St.
I just recently returned from my trip to Memphis, Tennessee. This was a "senior band trip", as in, a trip for the 12th graders that are currently participating in the high school band program. At first, most of the seniors were interested in the trip (I think maybe 14 were interested), but in the end, only 8 ended up going: me, Natalie, Joe, Aynslee, Courtney, Britney, Lauren, and Codie. Me and Joe were the only guys in attendance. This is, of course, not including the "adults." They would be Mr. Grissom, Mr. and Mrs. Hutchins, their son Jeff (Hutchins, I guess), Mrs. Kornegay, Denise the bus driver (I don't know her last name), and later Mr. Kornegay would join us. So, yeah...there were 15 of us total? I guess so. I'm too lazy to double check my math.

Oh yeah, since my camera kept dying due to crappy batteries, and since I kept forgetting my camera on the bus and crap, I didn't take many pictures. If you wanna see what this crap was like, ask one of the other people who went, or simply do a fscking search on Google. This shiz is popular enough. It's not like I'd take a picture that no one else would have a picture of.

Anyway, the main deal with this trip was "Memphis in May." It was some series of musical events or something in Memphis, obviously. The most promiment of these events were some music concerts and crap. I guess these concerts would be what people would call "wild." It was fscked up. I'm not gonna say it wasn't fun. It was just fscked up. There were probably thousands of people there. I never saw the same face more than once (unless they were of our party). There were a lot of people doing various things. There's the expected: smoking and alcohol consumption. I didn't mind the alcohol, 'cause, hey, I wasn't drinking it, and none of those drunk people messed with me. The smoking pissed me off, though. I got so much second-hand smoke, that it wasn't funny. Gah. And then there were drugs and shiz. I didn't see any of it, but I know it was happening. There were probably other immoral acts occurring, but I luckily didn't witness any of that. There was other stuff, too: porta potties, food stands (overpriced food), and shops and crap (overpriced, too, I guess. I didn't check them out).

Okay, I guess some people find these type of concerts great, but I certainly did not. 'course, this was my first experience. It was a huge orgy (figuratively speaking) of people in front of a stage, with some guy yelling on stage and a bunch of other people wailing on their instruments. All the people not on stage or screaming and shiz, and doing a bunch of stupid crap, and moving around and getting in front of me so I can't see. And the ground is muddy. Yeah. Natalie and Aynslee were having a good time, I suppose. I followed them 'cause I didn't know what else to do.
I was just standing there the whole time. I wasn't jumping or screaming. I was tired. I was out of energy.

The most notable concert experience was for some band with a guy who had pants that barely didn't reveal anything. He liked the word "cocaine" and loved to talk about fscking animals, or something like that. Anyway, it was a very interesting experience. I didn't find the music entertaining or the lyrics. It was the vibrations. We were pretty close to the front of the crowd, and the speakers were right there. It couldn't hear the actual music because I was focusing on my clothese shaking as I just stood there. Those vibrations from the speakers were of a minimally orgasmic experience. To sum it up better: it felt good. And when the people behind me screamed loudly into my ears, I felt like the world around me had shattered. It was then why I understood why drugs were so prominent at the concerts. If I had been high at that moment, I would've had a friggin' blast. 'course, after I got used to this all, it became boring.

The next band up was some band called "Puddle of Mudd", which was ironic 'cause the ground was just like a huge puddle of mud. Apparently, this band is really popular. But this is when it all went to hell. It was even worse than the cocaine guy. It became so crowded, that I was pretty much trapped. I was surrounded by guys (yes, males, not females, which made it worse). They were touching me. And then there were those "crowd surfers" guys that went above me. When it happened, the guy almost knocked me over. Man, I was pissed. It was then that Natalie and Aynslee attempted to esacpe (after Natalie apparently saw more of the guy than she needed to see ^-^;). 'course, we couldn't. We were trapped among fleshy walls of concert attendees. I guess we eventually escaped somehow. Yeah, that was silly. After all that, I was even more tired and I don't remember all else what happened. I just walked around with those guys and stuff. I was so damn out of it. I was glad when it was all over...glad and sore.

That's the end of part one and day one of my Memphis story. I'll put up day two and three some other time. I'm tired and hungry.

"Prepare Thyselves for Merriment"
9:20 PM

Yeah, that's the sign that prepared our English classes for the Scarborough Renaissance Fair.

I should've done some research. I brought a mere 12 dollars with me. I didn't know that everything other than the demonstrations would cost money (and neither did most of my friends). Silly me. Josh did buy me a 16 dollar wooden katana, though...too bad I also owe him 10 dollars now. ^-^; It's just two pieces of painted wood, but I like it. It's fun to play with.

My allergies went crazy. So dusty. A lot of hot girls there, too (and though the ladies working there were "well-endowed" and wore such revealing clothing, they weren't all that pretty). I got in a fight with wolverine...actually, it was some guy in a "Dark Brotherhood" (it looked like it) costume with some gold claws on his hands. He mocked my wooden sword and placed his claws to my neck. It was neato. Me and my friends shot the breeze with the glass blower guy. We talked about glass blowing, then pyrex, then college, then he had to go eat lunch. He was cool. I plotted to convince the winner of the joust, Sir William, to assist me in assassinating King Henry VIII, but I chickened out, and just gave him a big thumbs up, which he jokingly returned.

I'd like to go again sometime...with a dust mask and money.

I really wish I could provide pictures, but someone has my camera (I also spent all yesterday working on her MySpace).

I was bored, so I drew Dante. It's not finished yet, but I just wanted to hurry up and see how it would look if I colored what I had so far. I'm not very patient when it comes to drawing a picture.
