All that work to make a Japanese account was worth it...though it really wasn't that much work. :P
But I finished downloading the Eternal Sonata (Trusty Bell in Japan) demo and played it last night. I think the battle system is AWESOME. It's kinda like Tales, but in 3D (as in, 3D movement). Also, battle conditions change whether you're in the light or dark. If a kawaii coconut man is hopping around, then happens to hop into the shade, BAM, he transforms into an ugly, giant coconut man with bad breath. Your characters can also equip two different special attacks, one can be used in the shade, and one in the light. Also, it's got some Super Mario RPG in here. Sometimes when you're attacked, you get a chance to reduce the damage with a timed button press.
English voice acting sucks, but that's to be expected of a JRPG.
Oh yeah, and teh graph1x. Pretty.
I didn't finish the demo. Once I got to the town, I wasn't in the mood for an RPG. I didn't wanna talk to anyone. I just went back and fought some more kawaii coconut guys. :D
So here's a video of me playing.
