Yeah, that's the sign that prepared our English classes for the Scarborough Renaissance Fair.
I should've done some research. I brought a mere 12 dollars with me. I didn't know that everything other than the demonstrations would cost money (and neither did most of my friends). Silly me. Josh did buy me a 16 dollar wooden katana, though...too bad I also owe him 10 dollars now. ^-^; It's just two pieces of painted wood, but I like it. It's fun to play with.
My allergies went crazy. So dusty. A lot of hot girls there, too (and though the ladies working there were "well-endowed" and wore such revealing clothing, they weren't all that pretty). I got in a fight with wolverine...actually, it was some guy in a "Dark Brotherhood" (it looked like it) costume with some gold claws on his hands. He mocked my wooden sword and placed his claws to my neck. It was neato. Me and my friends shot the breeze with the glass blower guy. We talked about glass blowing, then pyrex, then college, then he had to go eat lunch. He was cool. I plotted to convince the winner of the joust, Sir William, to assist me in assassinating King Henry VIII, but I chickened out, and just gave him a big thumbs up, which he jokingly returned.
I'd like to go again sometime...with a dust mask and money.
I really wish I could provide pictures, but someone has my camera (I also spent all yesterday working on her MySpace).
